Clarice helped me and my husband during pregnancy, offering her support, explaining symptoms and what to expect, showing exercises and massages we could do together, giving me her overview of possible hospitals to give birth and always checking up on me. She was essential during labour, helping me with different positions, techniques and massages to relieve my pain. Without her magic hands, I wouldn’t have made it without pain medication. She also advised my husband on how to deal with the hospital staff, bureaucracy and how to better support me.

I would love to share my experience with Clarice. She is such a warm, kind, and friendly person who instantly makes you feel comfortable and safe. From the very first moment, you can feel her genuine care and compassion. Even though she arrived towards the end of my labour (because everything happened so quickly), her presence meant the world to me. The support, calmness, and reassurance she gave me helped me feel safe and cared for in one of the most intense and beautiful moments of my life. I’m deeply grateful that she was there with me, and I couldn’t have wished for a better person to share this experience with. I am incredibly grateful for the support I received from Clarice as my doula during the birth of my son. She was kind, patient, and able to calm me down even in the most stressful moments. She proactively found solutions whenever problems came up — including helping me sort out a special form I needed to complete at the hospital that was important to me. At first, I thought having only a midwife would be enough, but since she was understandably busy with other mothers simultaneously, she couldn’t be with me the whole time. Having a doula was one of the best decisions we made during my pregnancy — especially living far from home, in a country with a different language, a different culture, and a healthcare system I was still trying to understand. Clarice brought calm to the chaos. She has this gentle, grounding presence that made me feel safe from the very beginning. She never rushed, always explained things with such care, and made sure both my husband and I felt seen, informed, and included every step of the way. She checked in often, always genuinely curious about how I was feeling, how the baby was growing, how things were unfolding. Her attention to detail, her warmth, her emotional support — all of it made a huge difference, especially in moments of doubt or anxiety. Clarice wasn’t just there for the practical side of things; she held space for all the emotions too. I can’t imagine having gone through this journey without her by our side.

When I found out I was pregnant, in another country, with a language I didn’t speak, I felt very insecure. I knew I wanted someone who could guide and support us throughout this journey, preferably someone who spoke Portuguese. That’s when I found Clarice, a wonderful doula. From the first meeting, Clarice demonstrated empathy and knowledge and instantly put me at ease. Clarice helped prepare me for the birth with detailed and encouraging information. Her prenatal classes were essential for understanding the different stages of labour, pain management options, and what to expect from hospital care here in the Czech Republic. She was always available to answer my questions, providing immense peace of mind. If you’re expecting a baby and looking for someone who goes above and beyond to ensure your birth experience is positive and empowering, I couldn’t recommend anyone more highly than Clarice. She is truly exceptional at what she does
